1. OF THE SCRIPTURES: We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired Word Of God in its entirety, both Old and New Testaments. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter1:21; Proverbs 30:5)
2. OF THE TRINITY:
OF GOD- We believe there is one God eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; John 4:24; John 15:26; I John 5:7)
OF CHRIST—We believe in the Deity of Christ (Luke 1:35); His Virgin Birth (Luke 1:27); His death on Calvary (I Peter 2:24); His shed blood for atonement (Hebrews 9:22, I Peter 1:18-19); His bodily resurrection (I Corinthians 15:3-4, 20); His ascension into heaven there to be our intercessor (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25); and His personal return to establish His Kingdom on earth. (Acts 1:11); Revelation 11:15)
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin (John 16:7-11), makes believers children of God through the new birth (John 3:5, Romans 8:14-16), assuring them of Heaven, and by His indwelling (Romans 8:16) enables Christians to live a Godly Life.
3. OF THE FALL OF MAN: We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that through choice he disobeyed God. Consequently, all men are born sinners and have within themselves no possible means of salvation. (Romans 3:22-23, Isaiah 53:6; Ephesians 2:9; Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; I Corinthians15:22)
4. OF SALVATION: We believe in salvation by grace through personal faith in the death and shed blood of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16-18; Ephesians 2:8; I Peter 1:18-19)
5. OF JUSTIFICATION: We believe that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Acts 13:38-39)
6. OF ETERNAL SECURITY: We believe in the eternal security of the believers. (John10:28-29)
7. OF BAPTISM: We believe that baptism is a Scriptural ordinance requiring immersion of believers only, to be administered by a New Testament Church. (Acts 8:38-39; 2:41; Romans 6:3-5; Matthew 3:15-16)
8. OF THE LORD’S SUPPER: We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a spiritual ordinance of the church to be partaken of by obedient Christians of like faith and household. (I Corinthians 11:23-29)
9. OF THE RESSURECTION: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)
10. OF THE CHRISTIAN’S FUTURE: We believe that all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior become the children of God, that eternal life is a present possession, that at death their spirits depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness, and that at Christ’s coming for the Church their bodies shall be raised and together with the true believers then living on the earth, transformed into the likeness of the body of His glory. (John 1:12, 13: 5:24; I Corinthians 15:51-53)
11. OF JUDGEMENT: We believe that all those who persistently reject Jesus Christ in this present life will throughout eternity exist in a state of conscious and endless torment. (Revelation 20:11, 15; Matthew 25:46; John 3:18, 36)
12. OF SATAN: We believe that Satan is a person and that Hell is a place of eternal conscious punishment of all unsaved. (Job 1:6-7; Matthew 2:46; Revelation 20:14,15; Psalm 9:17)
13. OF THE CHURCH: We believe that the Church consists of all who in this dispensation truly believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that the church is the body of and the Bride of Christ and that her mission is to witness for Him to all nations (Acts 1:8; 1:14; Ephesians 5:23-32; 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18). We believe that the local New Testament Church is an organized body of baptized believers practicing Scriptural ordinances and actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission (Acts 2:41-42; Matthew 28:19-20. Its only scriptural officers are Bishops (pastors) and deacons, with such others as may be necessary in carrying out its mission.
14. OF EVANGELISM AND MISSIONS: It is the duty of every Christian man and woman and the duty of every Church of Christ, to seek to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth. It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by personal effort and by all other methods taught by the Word. (Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 9:37-38; Acts1:8, Acts 8:4)
